Dylcio holds a bachelor degree in Economics and has a MBA in Marketing from Fundação Armando Álvares Penteado (FAAP), a MBA in Business Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas and a MBA in Shopping Center Management from INSPER.
For over twenty-five (25) years, from 1990 to 2016, Porto has worked as an executive in the banking, beverage, telecommunications and mall sectors. Throughout these years he faced many challenges in many different regions and companies of Brazil.
From July 2013 to June 2016 Dylcio worked as a Regional Chief Executive Officer for Claro, a multinational Group that operates in more than 18 countries, accounting for the Mobile Phone Industry and HDTV. From July 2012 to July 2013 Porto worked as a Chief Marketing & Sales Executive Officer, and was a Partner and Member of the EMPZ Group´s Advisory Board, a Brazilian Group that operates in the sectors of Services Outsourcing, Temporary Labor, Human Resources and Education. From June 2009 to July 2012 he worked as a Chief Executive Officer of Terral Shopping Centers, a company from Terral Group – a Brazilian Group that operates Malls, light and heavy Civil Construction, Development and Energy industries. During the period of June 2003 to June 2009, Porto worked as a Regional Officer and Chief Executive Officer at Amazônia Celular (company of which was acquired by Oi) and as a Corporate Executive Officer in the Northern and Northeastern Regions of Brazil at Oi – Oi is a Brazilian company that operates in the mobile and landline phone industry. From March 2001 to June 2003 Porto worked at TIM – Telecom Italia Movel, an Italian company that operates throughout the Brazilian territory as a Sales Manager for Individual Customers (Canal Direto) and Sales Chief Executive Officer for companies (Canal Corporativo). Before that, he worked as an Executive at Banco do Brasil and Inbev Brasil (Brahma), in the financial and marketing areas respectively.
During that period Porto conducted the “Programa Rural” from Claro, a Project focused on taking the 3G phone industry to 453 municipalities of the northern region of Brazil. He was also responsible for the Merger of Amazônia Celular in the northern region by Oi, a project involving a billing system, GSM and TDMA network technologies, brands, its own sales channels and call center, business partners and individuals. Porto was also an essential member of the committees for the conception, construction and marketing Projects of Portal Shopping, Portal Sul Shopping, Buriti Mogi Shopping and Águas Lindas Shopping and of the expansion of other malls, mainly Buriti Shopping. He was also a very important and decisive member of the Committee of the program referred to as “Programa Bovespa Mais” from EMPZ Group.
Message: As we have already highlighted on this Page about our company and the new phase it has been going through, I became a partner of Arapaima Brazil and took over the position of CEO with the purpose of maintaining its position as the largest company of the sector in South America, and to make it a reference in Management in the areas of Corporate Environment, Technology, Customer Relationship, Partners, Society and Public Authorities. That is why we have launched a new brand designated Arapaima Brazil; we have also launched the new website; currently we are at an advanced stage and are planning to implement TOTVS´s ERP software (Enterprise Resource Planning) this coming September; we are also at the final stage of development of our own real time fish inventory management system (legacy). We expect to launch it this coming October; we have also begun making investments in infrastructure both in the Operational and Reproduction Unit. Moreover, we have started a Training and Development Process of our personnel.

Jan Mikael Ekström – Commercial and Technical Director. Jan graduated at Ebersteinska Technical School and has a Bachelor´s Degree in Marine Engineering from the Kalmar Maritime Academy in Sweden.
For 45 years aquarium fishes were Jan´s hobby. Later, this leisure activity became his profession. Jan´s main interest has always been the maintenance and breeding of ornamental freshwater fish from South America. In order to understand their needs, he has made several field trips to several countries in the Amazon region to study their habitats and understand their needs. Today, he lives with the Amazon as his neighbor. Throughout these years, he dedicated his time and devotion to the ornamental fish and the human impacts on their environment in the Amazon region.
He execute activities in the sector with researchers and their students – which are always welcome -. Jan firmly believes that knowledge is the key for the future. He has written several articles about ornamental fish breeding in trade magazines and websites – such as, the Aquaristik Fachmagazin Tetra Verlag GmbH, a German magazine and Practical Fishkeeping Magazine (Bauer Media Lifestyle), English magazine. Among other things, Jan has made presentations on reproductive and environmental issues in several different countries. He is an environmentalist, a naturalist and a realist, who believes that we can and should use natural resources in a sustainable way to benefit both the nature and the economy.
He has been a member and expert moderator of the Internet community called Planet Catfish since end of 2002. http:// www.planetcatfish.com
From 2005 to 2009 he was the president of GOC – Guardians of Catfish, a Scandinavian association dedicated to all species of the order of Siluriformes.
He has been working for Arapaima Brazil since 2007, worked as a consultant for the development of ornamental fishery and reproduction of ornamental fish, as a commercial manager and currently he is working as a Commercial and Technical Director.
